Privacy Policy
SIN Implant System Privacy Policy SIN | Henry Schein (“Policy”) demonstrates our commitment to processing the personal data of our clients or prospects (“Users”) with security, privacy and, above all, transparency.
SIN Implant System, hereinafter referred as: SIN – SISTEMA DE IMPLANTE NACIONAL S.A., registered with the Tax Number under No. 04.298.106/0001-74, headquartered at Rua Soldado Ocimar Guimarães da Silva, nº 2445, Vila Rio Branco, CEP 03348-060, in the city of São Paulo, State of São Paulo, and other subsidiaries, (referred to as “SIN IMPLANTES” or “SIN”), as controller of personal data, is responsible for making decisions about the processing of Users’ personal data. Thus, this Privacy Policy aims to make Users aware of the processing of their data and understand the conditions of use of this information in our activities.
This Privacy Policy will describe (i) how SIN | Henry Schein performs the processing of personal data in all of the company’s business processes, whether related to the collection, production, reception, classification, use, access, reproduction, transmission, distribution, processing, filing, storage, elimination, evaluation or control of information, modification, communication, transfer, dissemination or extraction thereof; and (ii) the rights of data subjects in relation to their data.
- Applicability/Scope
SIN | Henry Schein is committed to protecting the privacy and ensuring that the personal data of its Users is properly protected while we carry out any type of data processing under our responsibility.
This policy is applicable to customers and potential prospects of SIN | Henry Schein. It does not apply to suppliers, employees or job candidates at SIN | Henry Schein, which have their own privacy policies.
In addition, it should be noted that the Policy does not apply to data subjects of patients and customers of dentists who use the digital prosthesis planning service. In this scenario, SIN | Henry Schein acts in the role of data operator, providing the means for the processing of personal data by controllers (dentists, clinics and dental offices), through the digital prosthesis planning service. In this case, SIN | Henry Schein processes personal data exclusively on behalf of the dentists, clinics or dental offices that use its services. Such processing respects the instructions provided by the controller in relation to the processing of the personal data of its patients/customers. In cases where the company acts as a data operator, it is responsible for informing/communicating the controller entity about any possible incidents involving the data of its patients/customers, according to the terms of the General Data Protection Law (LGPD).

- SIN Principles | Henry Schein regarding the Protection of Personal Data
SIN | Henry Schein respects the protection of your personal data, as well as your rights over it. The four principles below support our stance in relation to Personal Data Protection:
- We value the trust that the User places in SIN | Henry Schein when providing us with your personal data, collecting this data always by lawful and fair means;
- The User has the right to clear information about how and where we use their personal data. Therefore, we will be transparent about what information we collect, informing the purpose at the time of collection, as well as what we do with this information, with whom we share it and who the User should contact in case of doubts;
- We cooperate with the User to promptly clarify any doubts that may exist about the processing of their personal data, as well as to ensure the execution of their rights;
- We will take all reasonable steps to protect the information against any form of personal data breach and to keep it secure.
We will comply with all applicable data protection laws and regulations, as well as cooperate with data protection authorities, in compliance with the provisions of Law 13,709/18, also known as the General Law for the Protection of Personal Data – LGPD. In the absence of specific local legislation on the subject, we will act in accordance with international best practices governing data protection.
- Basis for Processing Personal Data
SIN | Henry Schein only processes the personal data of its Users in the cases provided for in the General Data Protection Law – LGPD, supported by an appropriate legal basis, such as when it is necessary for the execution of a purchase and sale agreement, for the fulfillment of a legal or regulatory obligation, when necessary to meet the legitimate interests of SIN | Henry Schein or when the User has expressly consented to its realization.
The personal data collected to enter into a contract with SIN | Henry Schein is mandatory for the development of the contractual relationship and for complying with applicable legal obligations.
Marketing activities are generally carried out based on the User’s consent or on SIN | Henry Schein’s legitimate interest in providing marketing advertisements and offers. In any case, the User may choose not to receive this type of communication from SIN | Henry Schein at any time and at no cost.
In situations where SIN | Henry Schein processes Users’ personal data based on legitimate interest, a proportionality test will be carried out to ensure that no right of the holder is violated
- How do we collect Personal Data?
SIN | Henry Schein may collect Users’ data through:
- Our websites;
- Call centers;
- Direct marketing campaigns, sweepstakes and contests;
- Subscriptions to newsletters and events of our own or third parties;
- Third-party applications accessed or used through third-party websites or platforms that are operated by the company (SIN | Henry Schein); and
- Third parties that have a business relationship with SIN | Henry Schein whose data sharing is necessary to carry out activities related to the business.
- What Personal Data do we collect?
In this Policy, personal data is all information related to the identified or identifiable natural person. In general, this information is collected directly during the User’s interaction with SIN | Henry Schein, either for the conclusion of a contract or to use the company’s services. In some special situations, SIN | Henry Schein may also collect information from third parties for specific purposes, such as credit protection and fraud prevention or for sale through sales agents and distributors.
a) Personal Data provided directly by the holder to SIN | Henry Schein or third parties acting on behalf of the company:
- Registration data, including: name; username; business address and delivery address; date of birth, gender, nationality, identification document number, professional area, professional registration number, among others;
- Contact details, including: email address and phone number;
- Copy of personal documents, which may include a photo;
- Credit card information or other payment information including bank details for processing returns, refunds, agreements, etc.;
- Interaction with our own or third-party services and products;
- Content generated or shared by the User himself, publications and other interactions that the User has carried out on the SIN | Henry Schein;
- Any other personal data provided voluntarily.
b) Personal Data that we collect automatically when the User uses the SIN | Henry Schein:
We use cookies and other tools (such as web analytics tools and pixel tags) to automatically collect information when the User uses the SIN | Henry Schein, in compliance with the terms of this Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws and regulations, including storage obligations. The types of information we collect automatically are:
- Information about the type of browser the User uses;
- Details of the web pages that the User has accessed;
- IP address, date, time, duration, terminal, location and means of access of the User;
- The hyperlinks accessed;
- Username, profile picture, gender, contact networks and any other information that the User authorizes to be shared when using third-party websites or applications (for example, when using the Facebook “Like” feature);
- The pages that the User accessed before arriving at a SIN | Henry Schein.
The choice about allowing or blocking cookies is up to the User. You can change the settings to block cookies or to alert you when your machine is sending cookies. We emphasize that cookies allow SIN | Henry Schein to provide a differentiated experience for the User when using the SIN | Henry Schein, allowing SIN | Henry Schein may disclose products, promotions, coupons or information that are relevant to the User. In addition, only by accepting cookies, the User of the SIN | Henry Schein will be able to:
- Post comments or opinions;
- Customer service chat support;
- Receive information about products and promotions; and
- View information related to your interest.
Thus, we emphasize that the personal data obtained through cookies will be processed based on the consent given by the holder through the acceptance of the pop-up that should lead the holder to the rules contained in this Policy.
c) Personal Data that we collect automatically when the User contacts SIN | Henry Schein:
- Voice recordings for use in quality audits, or for the investigation of divergences and internal investigations;
- Phone number used to make the call; and
- Information about the phone call: date and time, duration, service extension and location.
d) Personal Data that we collect automatically when the User accesses the physical premises of the company:
- Video and voice image collected from security cameras;
- Photo to gain access to SIN facilities.
e) Personal Data from third parties that we receive through Users:
In some cases, Users may provide us with Personal Data of third parties, which do not have a direct relationship with SIN | Henry Schein, autonomously and spontaneously. An example is when the User uses a third-party credit card to purchase SIN | Henry Schein; in this case, we will collect and store the bank details of this third party (e.g., name printed on the credit card). Responsibility for the veracity, integrity and transparency regarding the sharing of this personal data of third parties with SIN | Henry Schein is the User’s own, and not SIN | Henry Schein.
f) Personal Data we collect from other sources:
We may obtain personal data from Users through other sources as long as the User has consented to such sources for this information to be shared, or as long as there is another legal basis that justifies such sharing. This information is obtained through commercially available sources, such as databases and aggregators of public data and information from third parties. Examples of types of personal data we collect from these sources:
- Registration data, including: name, address, telephone number, e-mail, date of birth, among others;
- Buying habits, credit rating, geolocation data;
- Related registrations (which are related to the data provided by the User);
- Publicly available information, such as court proceedings, user-generated content, blogs, and publications, as permitted by law.
- How is Personal Data used?
We use personal data to ensure quality service and a better experience in your purchase. We list below some of the purposes for which we may use your personal data:
- Registration of customers for the purpose of buying and selling products, provision of our services, issuance of invoices, delivery of goods, execution of services and after-sales assistance, including processing of returns, refunds, agreements, etc.;
- Protect against fraudulent transactions and ensure that the payment is completed without fraud and misappropriation;
- Evaluate the use of SIN | Henry Schein;
- Evaluate the level of service provided during the sales process, as well as the conditions of price, term, form of payment, delivery, etc., available;
- To review your suggestions and reviews of products or services provided, as well as to contact you to discuss such suggestions/reviews;
- To personalize the User’s experience on our websites, as well as to evaluate (anonymously and in general terms) statistics about activities on the websites, such as the time of visit, number of accesses and sites that led to the analyzed website;
- Facilitate the use of SIN | Henry Schein’s websites and improve the display of products and services offered, tailoring them to your interests and needs;
- Help accelerate the User’s future activities and experiences on SIN | Henry Schein websites. For example, a page may recognize if the User has already provided their personal information, avoiding asking for the same information again;
- Collect information about the devices used to access SIN | Henry Schein websites, such as IP address or the type of browser or operating system used, as well as correlate this data with personal information to ensure that SIN | Henry Schein websites provide the User with the best possible online experience;
- Suggest products, services, training, or technical materials (including third-party content) that we believe may be of interest to the User;
- Offer opportunities to participate in contests, promotions, or events, allowing registration when the User expresses interest in participating;
- Analyze the effectiveness of our advertisements, contests, and promotions;
- Send information, products, gifts, or samples;
- Handle requests and inquiries, and respond to the User’s questions or comments;
- Use in management, financial, operational, and administrative reports, with the purpose of assessing results, internal planning, budgeting, evaluating employee performance, etc.;
- Safeguard company data through backup and maintenance of networks, software, and systems;
- Investigate violations of applicable laws, internal policies, and procedures, as well as identify potential technical or security vulnerabilities;
- Comply with legal and regulatory obligations, such as audits by ANVISA and INMETRO, product recalls, investigations by public authorities, etc.; and
- Ensure the regular exercise of SIN | Henry Schein’s rights, including the use and presentation of personal data in judicial and administrative proceedings, when necessary.
Currently, the processing of personal data is mostly carried out through systems and software, with or without the use of artificial intelligence, always respecting transparency to the holder, adequacy to the purpose for which the data was collected, the limited use of the data necessary for the execution of each activity and the other principles of the LGPD. When there is data processing in activities using artificial intelligence, SIN | Henry Schein is responsible for the conscious and safe use of platforms validated from the point of view of privacy and information security.
a) How do we use your information when sending emails?
By registering your email address on SIN | Henry Schein, the User is subject to the receipt of promotional emails, content offers, newsletters, important notices and other special messages. The links contained in these emails always lead the User to the websites, blogs, Youtube channels, social networks or landing pages of SIN | Henry Schein. All emails are sent from the following domain: @sinimplantsystem.com
To no longer receive our institutional, marketing, offers and research communications, the User must click on the link found at the bottom of our emails, or unsubscribe through the privacy options available in the customer’s registration. For customers who make purchases exclusively through our telephone service channel, these options can be disabled by contacting the representative responsible for the service.
Our emails never include executable attachments under any circumstances. In cases where the User requests technical or informational content, emails may contain links to download e-books and other materials.
The database SIN | Henry Schein is safe. Unfortunately, however, it is possible for third parties in bad faith to send emails on behalf of SIN | Henry Schein containing fake promotions, offering prizes with high-value products or shopping vouchers. If the User has received an e-mail involving our brand or referring to this type of prize or similar, be suspicious and do not execute any file. In these cases, we ask you to contact us via email marketing@sinimplantsystem.com so that we can adopt the necessary measures and avoid inconveniences.
When irregularities are identified, appropriate legal measures are taken in order to protect our company, our brands and, especially, our Users.
- Data on Children and Adolescents
SIN | Henry Schein websites are developed and intended for a professional adult audience, duly registered with their respective Professional Council.
If and when a SIN | Henry Schein website or specific campaigns are directed at children, we will obtain the explicit and prominent consent of at least one parent or legal guardian before collecting any personal data.
If we become aware that we have processed children’s personal data without parental or legal guardian consent, we will act as quickly as possible to delete such data.
Access to certain parts of SIN | Henry Schein websites and/or eligibility to receive prizes, samples, or other rewards may be restricted to Users of legal age (18 years or older).
- How We Store and Delete Personal Data
The User’s personal data is stored in a secure and protected environment for the period necessary to fulfill the purposes indicated in this Policy or until the User requests the deletion of their personal data contained in our databases. In the event of a deletion request, the data is disposed of using secure methods, ensuring that the information in question cannot, under any circumstances, be reused by unauthorized individuals.
All stored personal data is archived in an internal environment exclusively managed and accessed by SIN | Henry Schein.
It should be noted that, even in the event of a deletion request, SIN | Henry Schein may retain the User’s personal data for an additional period to comply with legal or regulatory obligations, to exercise SIN | Henry Schein’s regular rights, or for the duration justified by the applicable legal basis for such retention.
- Who do we share Personal Data with?
Personal data may be shared with third-party partners, authorities and regulatory bodies, distributors and individuals depending on the purpose and necessity, such as:
- Official distributors of SIN products and services to fulfill the commercial purchase and sale relationship with the end customer;
- Advertising, marketing, and promotion agencies to help us develop and analyze the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and promotions;
- Third parties responsible for delivering products, gifts, or services to the User;
- Partner financial institutions responsible for enabling payment methods for sales, whether via credit card, bank slip, wire transfer, PIX, financing, etc.
- Commercial partners for credit and financial risk analysis, commonly known as credit bureaus, with whom we may share personal data for important purposes such as validating a specific profile to prevent fraud, supporting credit approval, enabling installment sales, or carrying out other commercial and business transactions involving financial risk;
- Partner companies, product manufacturers, and service providers that wish to receive information about the sales of their products in order to assess results and ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and regulatory obligations, such as product recalls, as well as to suggest product and service offers that we believe may be of interest to the User;
- Third parties that assist us in providing training, seminars, and events, such as travel agencies, consulting firms, speakers, etc.;
- Third-party service providers, such as companies that process and store data and provide digital and e-commerce services to SIN | Henry Schein, including software development companies, web analytics tools, etc.;
- Regulatory authorities or public agencies, when they follow the proper legal procedures to request information, or when necessary to comply with legal obligations, such as transparency laws in Minas Gerais (Declarasus); and
- Affiliated companies, subsidiaries, and/or entities related to SIN | Henry Schein, for any of the purposes set forth in this Policy.
Additionally, SIN | Henry Schein may share personal data with third parties in the event of corporate restructurings, including, for example, mergers, acquisitions, transformations, and spin-offs.
If and when we share Users’ personal data with third parties, we will make our best efforts to ensure that recipients keep the data secure, take all reasonable measures to protect it against misuse, and use it only in accordance with this Policy and applicable data protection laws and regulations. SIN | Henry Schein also reserves the right to audit third parties to ensure that the processing of personal data carried out by them complies with the same protection and security standards that we apply to the data we collect.
- International Transfer of Personal Data
SIN | Henry Schein may transfer Users’ personal data to other countries, such as the United States of America and Portugal, when using suppliers whose server is located abroad and for the purpose of processing personal data with affiliates/subsidiaries or partner entities of SIN | Henry Schein.
In case of need for international data transfer, before any transfer is carried out, SIN | Henry Schein will check whether there is a legal restriction for the third-party partner to carry out the processing and whether the destination country offers an adequate level of data protection. If the destination country does not offer it, SIN | Henry Schein will contractually establish that the receiving entity must have a data protection and information security standard compatible with this Policy and the General Data Protection Law – LGPD (Law No. 13,709/18).
SIN | Henry Schein assures that the processing of personal data carried out outside the country of origin will be duly secure and only in accordance with the instructions of SIN | Henry Schein, this Policy and applicable law.
- What are the Users’ Rights over their Personal Data?
The User, as the holder of personal data, may exercise their rights against SIN | Henry Schein by express request through the channels indicated at the end of this item.
Users’ rights over their personal data are:
- Right to confirmation of processing: SIN | Henry Schein will inform whether or not it processes the personal data of the requesting data subject.
- Right of access to data: SIN | Henry Schein will provide all personal data related to the requesting data subject.
- Right to correct incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated data: SIN | Henry Schein allows the User to correct or update their personal data through the website, as described at the end of this section. However, if the User cannot correct or update the data themselves, SIN | Henry Schein will do so according to the information provided by the requesting data subject.
- Right to anonymization, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary, excessive, or unlawfully processed data: If the User believes that SIN | Henry Schein is processing their personal data unnecessarily, excessively, or in violation of the LGPD, the User may request SIN | Henry Schein to anonymize, block, or delete such data, provided the grounds are confirmed by SIN | Henry Schein.
- Right to data portability: If duly requested by the User, SIN | Henry Schein will transfer their personal data to another controller. If unable to send the data to the requested entity, SIN | Henry Schein will deliver the data to the User so they can perform the transfer and will subsequently delete the User’s data from the company’s databases.
- Right to information about data sharing: The User may request SIN | Henry Schein to inform all companies or public entities with which it has shared or received their personal data, if applicable.
- Right to refuse consent and be informed of possible consequences: SIN | Henry Schein will inform the User of all consequences of not providing consent for processing activities.
- Right to revoke consent: If requested by the User, SIN | Henry Schein will revoke their consent. All processing activities based solely on consent carried out before revocation will remain valid. Upon revocation, all data linked exclusively to activities based on this legal ground will be deleted/blocked from the company’s databases, as requested by the User. However, SIN | Henry Schein will continue processing data related to other activities supported by different legal bases other than consent.
- Right to review automated decisions: The User may request a review of any automated decisions, meaning decisions made solely based on automated processing of personal data that affect the User’s interests.
- If the User wishes to exercise any of the rights listed above, they must contact our Data Protection Officer (DPO) via email at dpo@sinimplantsystem.com.
If the User only wishes to correct or update their registration data, they must contact the e-mail sac@sinimplantsystem.com. If you prefer to make the change by phone, you must call our number 0800 770 8290, from 8am to 6pm, so that your request is registered by our attendants.
It is worth mentioning that the User has full rights and at any time can request compliance with all the rights provided for in Chapter III of the General Law for the Protection of Personal Data – LGPD (Law 13.709/18), using the channels described above.
- Changes to our Privacy Policy
SIN | Henry Schein reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time. However, whenever there is a significant change in how we use the User’s personal data or in any terms of this Policy, we will notify the User through communications on our own websites.
We recommend that Users keep their information up to date and regularly visit our websites to stay informed about any changes to our Privacy Policy.
- Legislation and Jurisdiction
This Policy shall be governed, interpreted, and enforced in accordance with Brazilian law, especially the General Data Protection Law – LGPD (Law No. 13,709/2018), in the Portuguese language, and the courts of São Paulo/SP are hereby elected to settle any dispute or controversy arising from this document, with the express waiver of any other jurisdiction, no matter how privileged it may be.
